Events
Within the club we hold a varied selection of events, these include:
- Club Championship
- Ladder Competition
- Quick play handicap (30 min games)
- Friendlies
- Specials, single evening competitions
We are also represented in the following regional competitions:
- Kent League (3 teams)
- National Club KO (2 teams)
Help and instruction can be given, if wanted, to develop game technique and skills.
Chess Tuition for Juniors 2013
One of our members Michael Shahoud is offering Chess classes at Tonbridge Library on Thursday evenings:
5pm to 6pm Beginners
6pm to 7.30pm More Advanced
Classes are free of charge and will run throughout the year.
It is preferable that the Juniors are accompanied by a Parent who will sit with the class and will be able to encourage and assist the juniors in the week between classes.
Please email michael.shahoud@yahoo.co.uk before your initial visit so that he can ensure that there is sufficient space and equipment.
